Project: Opal Leeds One
With over 1500 bedrooms, this imposing building situated near to heart of Leeds reflects the ultimate in modern day student accomodation. Developed by Opal Property Group of Manchester and constructed by Ocon Construction of Leeds this building saw the first large scale use of a newly developed 'foil coated' PVC window system.
Developed in conjunction with Spectus Systems and Renolit in Germany, EYG introduced a 'low orange peel effect' foiled finish, which resembles PPC aluminium and allows contractors, subject to local authority approval, the opportunity to 'value-engineer' against aluminium windows.
