At EYG Commercial, we recognise our duty to protect the health and safety of all employees including other contractors' employees, as well as any members of the public who might be affected or come into contact with the company's many operations.
In order to achieve this, EYG Commercial have recognised the need to have an effective occupational health and safety management system in place, which is clearly defined and well documented.
Our health and safety management system is based on the HS(G) 65 'plan-do-check-act' management model, and embodies the principle of continual improvement as exemplified in the British Standard for quality assurance systems.
Our factory and Site Managers have completed recognised health and safety training courses by IOSH and CITB to ensure that policies and procedures are agreed by our health & safety committee, who also ensure these are followed throughout the organisation.
Our manufacturing and installation sites are audited regularly by external consultants, Proactive Risk Management, who provide detailed reports including any non-conformance actions and recommendations.
As depicted by the graph, this system has enabled EYG Commercial to consistently reduce accidents throughout the group for the past 5 years and we have consistently had a RIDDOR rate below the industry average. EYG Commercial is also approved by Construction Line and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
Organisation and planning play a big part in accident reduction and the successful delivery of any project, so the company also operates a fully documented Quality Management System, which is accredited to ISO 9001ยจ2008 standard by the BSI.
This system ensures that we provide you with quality products, which are manufactured by us to the highest possible standard and installed by our competent, trained tradespeople, who are backed up by industry recognised guarantees and warranties.
