EYG glazes award-winning newbuild development in Hull

EYG Commercial has manufactured and fitted UPVC windows and both UPVC and aluminium doors on a bespoke newbuild development in Hull.

The Headstock Meadows development in Preston, Hull, has just been completed by housebuilder Ward Homes Yorkshire, who chose EYG Commercial for glazing the entire plot of 24 prestigious homes.

The site manager for Ward Homes Yorkshire, Matt Evison, has now been recognised in a major industry award for the quality of the project.

Matt has won a Quality Award from NHBC – the National House Building Council.

In congratulating Matt and Ward Homes Yorkshire on the award, Tim Hotte, Trade Projects Manager for EYG Commercial, said: “We were delighted to work with Charles Ward from Ward Homes Yorkshire on such a quality development.

“This award was very well-deserved and we are thrilled to be associated with such a prestigious development comprising such quality craftmanship. The entire development is a real asset to this East Yorkshire village.

“This development is a fine example of two local firms working together to enhance the community they both serve.”

We manufactured and installed UPVC windows which were agate grey on the outside and white on the inside; GD10C anthracite grey composite doors; aluminium bifold doors; and UPVC sliding patio doors.

EYG Commercial, which has been in business for more than 50 years, has recently worked on several newbuild projects, including small bespoke developments as well as large-scale house-building developments, using both UPVC and aluminium windows and doors and curtain walling.

Headstock Meadows comprises two, three and four-bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached houses in the village of Preston, close to the East Yorkshire coast.

The development is one of a number of recent developments by the Hull-based house builder.
