At EYG Commercial, we recognise our duty to protect the Health and Safety of all employees
including other contractors’ employees, as well as any members of the public who might be affected
or come into contact with the company’s many operations.
In order to achieve this, EYG Commercial have recognised the need to have an effective
occupational Health and Safety management system in place, which is clearly defined and well
documented.
Our Health and Safety management system embodies the principle of continual improvement as
exemplified in the British Standard for quality assurance systems. Our factory and site managers
have completed recognised Health and Safety training courses by IOSH and CITB, to ensure that
policies and procedures are agreed by our Health & Safety committee who ensure these are followed
throughout the organisation.
Our manufacturing and installation sites are audited regularly by external consultants, Proactive Risk
Management, who provide detailed reports including any non-conformance actions and
recommendations.
Organisation and planning play a big part in accident reduction and the successful delivery of any
project, so the company also operates a fully documented Quality Management System, which is
accredited to ISO 9001 2008 standard.
EYG Commercial are also approved members of Constructionline and the Contractors Health and
Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
These systems have enabled EYG Commercial to consistently reduce accidents throughout the group
whilst ensuring that we provide quality products manufactured to the highest possible standard,
installed by competent, trained tradespeople and backed up by industry recognised certification,
guarantees and warranties.
