EYG Commercial were the chosen supplier and installer of windows and doors for the new £3m Art and Design Technology Centre at Pocklington School.
Designed by York architect Simon Mitchell, of the Mitchell Design Consultancy, the new centre was built by Hull-based construction firm Geo Houlton & Sons Ltd, a firm we have worked with on a number of previous projects.
The centre was completed and opened in May 2018 with the design and construction teams praised by Headmaster Mark Ronan for the stunning final result, with a facility boasting well-equipped studios, workshops and open, light-filled spaces.
Products installed included Anthracite Grey ALUK58BW Windows & ALUK GT55 Doors, with the onsite development overseen and managed by Richard McNeill.
Commercial Director Steve Swallow said: “The most pleasing thing about this contract was the feedback we got from a delighted customer about the quality of our products and our work.
“They were absolutely delighted with the contribution EYG Commercial made to this development, and that was down to our experience and expertise in the educational sector and the products required to best suit the client.”
