It has been with great pride that we have been able to cast our eye over our order book at EYG Commercial over the past 12 to 18 months – and looking forward - and reflect upon a shift in the scale of projects being added.

We have seen a steady but continual increase in the number and percentage of contracts valuing between £600,000 and £1m+ – a reflection of how we as a firm have established ourselves in the market for handling the bigger, more complicated glazing projects.

As a company established for close to five decades, we know we are fortunate to benefit from our long-established and trusted reputation, and of course have many relationships with key suppliers and customers which have been formed and strengthened over years.

However, we have never lost sight of the fact that reputation and standing can only ever relate to the past.

Quality of products, pricing and performance will always dictate the future. It is why EYG Commercial makes the following ‘5 Ps’ our priorities at all times

Products: Investment into product innovation is key to our continued success, providing bespoke solutions for developers, contractors, architects and builders. From high-performance acoustic windows for hotels at Heathrow Airport to blast and fire-resistant windows and doors, we offer support at every stage, from the initial design concept to installation and aftercare. We manufacture, test and certify all our bespoke products to meet the PAS 24:2015 standard.

Price Point: The reason we win repeat business from many major contractors at EYG is simple – the combination of our products, expertise and experience delivers great value for money. We have worked on developments where our advice and knowledge has led to significant savings being made by our customers, whilst still benefitting from using alternative, better performing products. Our pricing is completely transparent.

Performance: As every large scale glazing job brings different challenges, we specifically select a fully-qualified team to best meet the needs of our clients, ensuring we stay within budgets and meet the relevant deadlines. Dedicated on-site supervisors ensure we have an everyday presence, ensuring every step of the process is not only managed effectively, but also importantly communicated directly to clients. Every job has different challenges. We’ll select a fully-qualified team to best meet your needs and ensure we hit the relevant deadlines. Regular reviews in the finest detail are all focused on providing compete transparency in our work.

Partnership: We see every project we undertake as a true partnership with our client. For this reason we are rarely involved in disputes over the quality of our work. We ensure site visits conducted by senior management are used to ensure clients are happy and allow any issues to be raised at a director level. Any product which does not meet required standards due to our error is dealt with during the terms of default liability agreed within our contracts. We promise to never leave a job which we are not 100% happy with ourselves – a reason why so many contactors turn to us and want to work as partners again.

People: At the end of the day, business is something done between people, and that is something we never lose sight of at EYG. That is why our senior managers take a hands-on approach to ensure every job runs as smoothly as possible, from the day a contract is signed to beyond when our specialist installers finish on site. From our management team to fabricators and fitting teams, our team is approachable and always seeking to ensure our invaluable experience helps and supports our customers, many of whom we develop long-term relationships with.
